Find out a bit about Harris Tweed
A bit about Harris Tweed (and why these harnesses are more expensive)
Harris Tweed is the only fabric in the world governed by its own Act of Parliament. This means that it must be made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides. The fabric has to be hand woven by islanders at their homes and then finished in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.
Only genuine Harris Tweed is allowed to be called Harris Tweed and bear the mark of the Orb (pressed onto traditional labels).
We are proud to use genuine Harris Tweed and be able to supply this luxury fabric to our customers.
